Christopher Brown was born in Camden and raised in Lindenwold, NJ. From an early age he saw the value in giving back to the community as his parents were very involved in community outreach by way of their Camden based church. Being exposed to feeding and clothing the homeless, mentoring the youth of the city, and housing families in need left a lasting impression that he now carries into his adult life.
Professionally Chris now works as a consultant for a telecommunications company after attending Lindenwold High School. It was in high school where he first became a mentor for his peers as well as the younger incoming students and realized just how much consistency and proper guidance could turn someone’s perspective and path in a positive direction.
Although no longer a resident of Camden, the appreciation for the strong character the city has built in him and the potential he sees in the youth of that city has reignited his passion for being involved in mentorship.
Chris's vision for B.O.S.S. Mentoring is to help young men discover their true value and purpose. To be a positive influence that is stronger than the negative ones they may see around them and to build the confidence of young men who will strive to lead and not follow.
