"Enhancing School-Community Partnership through our Mentoring Program"
Our School Partnerships
School partnerships establish equitable and cooperative relationships between schools and mentoring programs. These partnerships foster academic enrichment activities, tutoring, behavior support, health and social services, as well as family and community engagement.
The Effectiveness of School-Community Partnerships
Research has shown that school-community partnerships can have a positive impact on students in various ways, including:
-
Developing stronger social and emotional skills
-
Improving student engagement (higher attendance rates and lower chronic absenteeism)
-
Enhancing academic outcomes (higher test scores and better grades, higher rates of on-time grade promotion, and higher graduation rates)

School Partnerships: Enhancing Learning Experiences and Building Stronger Communities
School partnerships can provide a wealth of benefits to students, families, and communities. Here are three key ways these partnerships can make a difference:
-
Providing additional learning experiences beyond the typical school day
-
Offering individual support to students and their families
-
Supplying additional opportunities for meaningful relationships with adults
By creating deeper connections with families and communities, schools can help foster a stronger sense of community and support for all involved.
