Tanisha S. Pollard was born in the City of Camden, NJ where she was raised for many years until her family moved to Lawnside, NJ. Her education began at St. Bartholomew School (now The Boys and Girls Club). Her education continued with private school and she later graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 2005.
She later attended Delaware State University where she obtained her Bachelor's in Community Health with a minor and Criminal Justice. Tanisha went straight for her Master's at Rutgers Camden and graduated in 2011 with a Master's in Social Work.
Tanisha is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and also a member of The National Association for Social Workers.
Although she is no longer a city resident her love for the city of Camden has never changed as her family still reside there. Tanisha's professional career as a Master's level social worker has always been focused on helping families to succeed by empowering them to use tools such as conflict resolution, anger management and providing them resources within their own community. She has been working in the City of Camden for the last 7 years.
Tanisha's vision for B.O.S.S Mentoring is to provide young men with the tools and resources they need in order to become successful in all aspects of their lives.
