Youth Worker 
Camden, NJ - Part Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES • Oversee daily operations of program areas including maintaining safety equipment, cleaning facilities, displaying appropriate signage, and operating a computer as necessary • Organize and facilitate activities related to program focus areas (i.e games, physical fitness events, arts and crafts, homework help) • Encourage mentees to participate in activities and form healthy relationships by greeting and introducing new mentees, encouraging group activities, and providing oversight to ensure everyone is treated fairly • Assess group dynamics and collaborate with leadership personnel to create activities for desired outcomes such as relationship building, positive social interaction, and improved self-confidence • Complete necessary paperwork (i.e attendance sheets, mentee profiles, incident reports, progress evaluations, and activity assessments as required • Foster collaboration and leadership among mentees by adding activities that promote teamwork and encouraging mentees to actively pursue responsibility • Actively serve as a leader by modeling characteristics of a B.O.S.S and recite and know B.O.S.S Mantra Job Skills & Qualifications Required: * High school student and willingness to complete on-the-job training * Attention to detail and ability to solve problems quickly and responsibly * Excellent communication skills in both writing and speaking Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities

Program Coordinator
Camden, NJ - Part Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks, which may be found in positions within this classification • Facilitate with assignment of mentor, recruit ,screen, and conduct mentor orientation • Develop, maintain, and facilitate a scope and sequence of required topics to be covered by mentors and mentees throughout the mentoring process, inclusive of mentoring topics to be covered during sessions • Provide resources to mentors regarding emerging professional development themes • Provide ongoing support and supervision to mentors, specifically conduct monthly group supervision as well as ongoing responsiveness to mentor questions and concerns • Maintain documentation and track program deliverables, including those of partner agencies for semi-annual reporting. • Stay abreast of best practices and latest research related to mentoring and mentoring programs • Facilitate/Set-up quarterly mentor training •Plan and hold an annual mentor appreciation event • Perform other duties related to the Mentoring Program as required by the Executive Director Job Skills & Qualifications Required: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver's License with good driving record/history and the ability to meet agency driver standards * Completion of Criminal Background Check *Experience in developing and implementing programs *Experience supervising volunteers or other individuals *Must have paid or volunteer mentoring experience or providing service in community service programs, or similarly related areas * Sound judgment and the ability to supervise mentors for individual and group mentoring sessions * Excellent speaking and writing skills *Ability to develop positive relationships with community volunteers and with youth * Highly organized and collaborative * Ability to take initiative, dependability, flexibility and resourceful *Ability to function independently and as part of a team * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, Google Docs/ Calendar and Internet usage. * Able to work evenings and some weekends Terms of Employment: This position's specific hours are determined by the Executive Director,Executive Director of Operations and funding. Administrative Assistant (Hybrid)
Camden, NJ - Part Time

Parent Support Group Coordinator (Current BOSS Parents Only)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES • Assist, support, and advocate for parents of B.O.S.S Mentoring Inc. • Oversee and coordinate events and partnerships related to our mission. • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate support groups and educational seminars for parents • Build collaborative relationships with community partners • Collect and maintain program data on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. • Maintain confidentiality and positive community relationships • Travel locally as required in the performance of responsibilities. Van Driver
Camden, NJ - Part Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES • Operate agency vehicle(s) in accordance with the NJ State Regulations and Laws. • Coordinate the daily van schedule with appropriate program staff. • Monitor clients' behavior while in the van. Report problems to appropriate staff. • Maintain a safe and clean operating environment in the van. • Ensure that appropriate safety restraints are worn at all times by the driver of the van and all passengers. • Ensure all routine maintenance and inspections are complete. • Maintain records of mileage, passengers and trips. • Maintain roadside assistance kit and report to supervisor as required any vehicle maintenance and upkeep needs. • Ensure the van is cleaned on a routine basis. • Satisfactory completion of agency Defensive Driving Training within the first three months of date of hire. • Interact (verbally and non-verbally) with clients, staff, and community members professionally with respect and courtesy. • Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with administrative policies and procedures.
